Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our global food and beverage ingredients company. The successful candidate will manage supplier evaluation, maintain strong relationships, and ensure cost‑effective procurement of materials, parts, and goods.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery criteria.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers to secure reliable, traceable supply chains.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve best value for the organization.
• Monitor procurement performance and implement process‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with business needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Degree or diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours when required.
• Organised multi‑tasker with keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office applications.
• Solid computer literacy.
