Product Design Specialist

About the role

The Product Design Specialist manages the full product development lifecycle, from market research and concept creation through factory coordination, sample development and customer feedback. The role ensures innovative, market‑driven products are delivered on time to meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with factories and product managers regarding development and production schedules.
• Conduct market visits at least twice per week to identify customer needs and emerging design trends.
• Research and develop new product concepts based on market demand.
• Prepare design survey reports and coordinate new product samples.
• Oversee the complete product development process, including design research, factory proofing, sample development, physical product evaluation, research reporting, customer feedback collection, product modifications, production scheduling and monitoring factory progress.
• Collect and analyse customer feedback to refine designs.
• Organise weekly meetings with international product teams and submit weekly and monthly reports to product managers, sales and market teams.

Required profile

• University degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in product design or product development.
• Professional knowledge of tiles or building materials is an advantage.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
