Regional Coordinator – New Markets

About the role

The Regional Coordinator (New Markets) will lead a four‑person validation unit responsible for entering and scaling operations in untapped African markets. This permanent position moves through validation, pilot, and full‑scale phases, ultimately overseeing a cluster of up to 60 sites.

Key responsibilities

• Drive regional growth from pilot to full‑scale operations using a proven replication model.
• Approve validated sites and develop new organic pipelines.
• Own the regional Profit & Loss statement and create strategic growth plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Manage regional inventory, ensuring strict compliance, minimal overstock and less than 1% missing packs.
• Meet performance targets such as maintaining 150+ active customers, achieving L7 status and hub profitability.
• Coordinate with the Regional Service Engineer to guarantee 99.95% energy uptime.
• Allocate field resources—including inventory, technical support and staffing—across sites to support market launch and scale‑up.
• Train and coach Hub Managers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive operational or commercial experience in FMCG, Energy, Telecom or similar fast‑paced sectors.
• Proven track record of launching or scaling distributed operations in emerging African markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and manage performance.
