Senior Store Manager – New Restaurant Launch in Ndola

About the role

We are opening a brand‑new restaurant and take‑away outlet in Ndola, Zambia, and need a dynamic Senior Store Manager to lead the launch team. You will be responsible for establishing operational standards, building a strong store culture, and driving profitability from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and take‑away service.
• Maintain food quality and ensure compliance with WACKYS Standard Operating Procedures.
• Manage stock control, purchasing, and order processes.
• Handle customer complaints and uphold high service standards.
• Achieve sales and gross‑profit targets by motivating and coaching staff.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and discipline team members.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Conduct opening and closing procedures each day.
• Implement marketing promotions and incentive programmes at the store.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in restaurant or fast‑food service management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets and drive sales growth.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues promptly.

Required skills

• GAAP knowledge and experience (advantageous).
