Service Mine Manager

About the role

The Service Mine Manager leads all after‑sales service activities for mining equipment at a designated mine site. Acting as the primary technical advisor, the role ensures high machine availability, manages service contracts and warranty claims, and serves as the liaison between the customer and the factory.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee on‑site after‑sales service operations, meeting KPIs and budget targets.
• Administer and execute site‑specific service contracts (MARC/FMC) and warranty support.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer management, mine planners and maintenance teams.
• Provide technical advice on machine operation, maintenance strategies and component life‑cycle.
• Lead the on‑site service and technical teams, fostering safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Act as General Manager of Operations when required, assuming full operational responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with large hydraulic excavators, mining dozers and dump trucks.
• Proven track record managing heavy earth‑moving equipment maintenance in large‑scale mining environments.
• Strong understanding of condition monitoring, component tracking and reliability engineering.
