Site Manager – Kalumbila

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead operations at our Kalumbila site in Chingola, Zambia. The role focuses on ensuring service excellence, equipment performance, and safety compliance while coordinating with customers, support teams, and workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily, weekly and monthly customer meetings to maintain alignment and service quality.
• Manage spare parts inventory (VMI) to ensure optimal equipment performance and continuity.
• Plan and coordinate equipment, parts and service activities, keeping records accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Monitor equipment performance against contractual targets and report KPI compliance.
• Conduct root‑cause and failure analyses (RCA, Fault Tree) and propose improvement initiatives.
• Handle communications with product support, repair workshops and customers, providing warranty support.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental standards through hazard identification, risk assessment and action planning.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in a mining environment.
• Previous management experience as a Site Manager or equivalent is an advantage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
