Systems Internal Auditor

About the role

The Systems Internal Auditor will lead comprehensive audits of Goodfellow Finance’s information systems, networks, applications and related IT infrastructure. Based in Lusaka, this full‑time, on‑site position works closely with IT teams and management to ensure robust controls and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits of systems, networks, databases, applications and IT infrastructure.
• Assess the effectiveness of IT controls, policies, security and access management.
• Review change management, backup, disaster‑recovery and data integrity processes.
• Identify technology‑related risks, control weaknesses and non‑compliance with laws and standards.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk assessments and practical recommendations.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure remediation of identified issues.
• Collaborate with management and stakeholders to strengthen the internal control environment.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as ZICA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Relevant certification (CISA, CIA) or membership with ISACA is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in IT auditing, internal auditing, information security, risk management or regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, report‑writing and communication skills.
• High integrity, confidentiality and professional judgement.
