Associate – Advanced HIV Disease (HIV Access Program)

About the role

The Associate will support CHAI Zambia’s technical assistance to the Ministry of Health for the Advanced HIV Disease (AHD) component of the HIV Access Program. This position focuses on improving AHD service delivery through market shaping, supply chain optimization, and health‑system strengthening.

Key responsibilities

• Scale up the HIV Access program with a focus on AHD commodities to improve performance and efficiency.
• Provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health for the rollout of advanced HIV disease diagnostics and treatment.
• Support market‑shaping activities and supply‑chain management for AHD commodities.
• Collaborate with CHAI teams, government partners, and other stakeholders to strengthen health‑system components related to AHD.
• Monitor and report on program outcomes to inform continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in technical assistance or implementation of health programs, preferably in HIV/AIDS.
• Familiarity with advanced HIV disease interventions and health‑system strengthening.
• Ability to work effectively with government ministries and international partners.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
