Biomedical Sales Representative

About the role

KANO Healthcare Solutions Ltd is seeking a part‑time Biomedical Sales Representative to promote and sell dental, imaging and ophthalmology products to healthcare facilities, distributors and clinical professionals. Based in Lusaka, the role combines on‑site visits with remote work, allowing you to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to post‑sale support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the healthcare sector.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for decision‑makers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing within company guidelines and coordinate order processing.
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide post‑sale support.
• Gather market feedback to help improve product offerings and customer service.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer‑relationship skills, including prospecting, negotiation and account management.
• Knowledge of biomedical, dental, imaging or ophthalmology products and ability to explain technical features.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Basic business and administrative skills for documentation and record‑keeping.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and organise schedules.
• Previous experience in medical or healthcare sales is highly beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in biomedical engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within Lusaka and occasionally to other regions or neighboring countries.
