About the role

Lucilumi Enterprise is seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join its construction team in Lusaka. This full‑time, on‑site position involves building, repairing, and maintaining walls and structural elements for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret building plans, measurements, and work orders.
• Prepare and level surfaces, mix mortar, and lay bricks or blocks with accurate alignment.
• Ensure all structures meet safety, quality, and local building‑code standards.
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians.
• Perform site preparation, cleanup, and safe use of tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Practical experience in bricklaying and block work.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow work orders.
• Physical capability for manual labour, including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
