Crew Member – Truck Loading & Delivery

About the role

Join AB InBev’s logistics team as a Crew Member responsible for securing stock on trucks, off‑loading deliveries at customer sites, and handling empty containers on the return trip to the plant. You will work closely with drivers to ensure safe, efficient and on‑time deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections to verify safety and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and secure loads.
• Collaborate with drivers to plan efficient routes and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate delivery and inventory records.
• Provide courteous customer service during drop‑offs and address concerns promptly.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well‑maintained according to company standards.
• Report any vehicle issues to management for timely resolution.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience in manual goods handling and stock control within the FMCG sector.
• Experience in goods deliveries and familiarity with delivery procedures.
• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Computer literate with reliable time‑management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to follow SHE standards and use prescribed PPE.
• Proficiency in performing 360‑degree scans, PTIs and acting as a spotter while trucks reverse.
• Competence in using pallet steps and securing loads.
