Funeral Insurance Specialist

About the role

The Funeral Insurance Specialist will develop, sell and manage funeral plan solutions that complement Uniturtle’s range of funeral products. Based on‑site in Lusaka, the role involves advising funeral homes and clients on coverage needs, preparing quotations and supporting claims.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate funeral insurance packages.
• Prepare and present quotations, process applications and maintain accurate policy records.
• Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.
• Respond to customer inquiries, provide claims support and conduct follow‑ups.
• Contribute to sales targets and participate in community outreach or information sessions.
• Ensure compliance with local insurance regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of funeral cover policies, underwriting basics and claims processes.
• Solid finance understanding to interpret premiums, payment plans and basic budgeting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Relevant experience in funeral insurance, life insurance or related financial services (preferred).
• Familiarity with local insurance regulations and compliance requirements (advantage).
• Ability to work on‑site in Lusaka, manage multiple client cases and keep accurate documentation.
