Land Acquisition / Real Estate Buyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Buyer to lead land acquisition activities for development projects in Zambia. The role involves identifying, evaluating, negotiating and closing land deals, while coordinating with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source suitable land and real estate opportunities.
• Lead end‑to‑end land acquisition, from site identification through negotiation and closing.
• Conduct due diligence on land ownership, title, zoning, legal status, and development potential.
• Negotiate purchase terms and prices with landowners, agents, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with legal, technical, valuation, and regulatory teams during acquisitions.
• Maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor local property and land market trends to identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in real estate, land acquisition, property buying, or a related field.
• Strong and proven land acquisition experience, specifically in Zambia.
• Good knowledge of the Zambian real estate and land market.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to independently identify and close suitable land acquisition opportunities.
• Knowledge of land documentation, title verification, and acquisition processes in Zambia.
