About the role
Keda Zambia Ceramics Ltd is seeking 20 motivated Management Trainees to join its Production Department. The programme offers a rotational exposure to all key functions of ceramic tile manufacturing, preparing participants for future leadership roles.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in rotational training across production, quality control, maintenance, and operations.
- Assist supervisors in daily production monitoring, safety compliance, and product quality assurance.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose technical solutions for process optimisation, waste reduction and equipment performance.
- Support hands‑on operation and maintenance of mechanical, mechatronic and chemical process equipment.
- Collect, analyse and report production data such as output, downtime and defect rates.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance and production planning teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to factory safety rules, environmental regulations and Twyford operational standards.
- Work rotating shifts, including extended hours when required.
- Assist in team coordination and workforce management to develop leadership capabilities.
- Engage in continuous learning through technical training, mentorship and performance evaluations.
Required profile
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering or related engineering fields.
- Maximum of 3 years of work experience.
- Age 28 or younger.
- Fluent in English (French is a plus).
- Willingness to work in a factory environment and accept shift work.
