Operations & Supply Chain Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Operations & Supply Chain Officer to support and optimise our logistics, warehouse and fleet activities in Lusaka. The role will ensure efficient inventory control, coordinate procurement processes and contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
• Oversee fleet management, scheduling vehicle use and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate with suppliers and monitor contract performance.
• Prepare operational reports, analyse data and recommend process enhancements.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of ERP/CRM systems for supply chain functions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Purchasing & Supply, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of proven experience in operations support, logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and fleet management practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
