Real Estate Buyer / Land Acquisition Specialist (Zambia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Buyer / Land Acquisition Specialist to lead the identification, negotiation and acquisition of land parcels across Zambia. The role involves managing the full acquisition lifecycle, from sourcing opportunities to closing deals, while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suitable land and real‑estate opportunities for acquisition.
• Lead the end‑to‑end acquisition process, including sourcing, due diligence, negotiation and closing.
• Conduct preliminary assessments of land titles, ownership records and documentation.
• Negotiate purchase prices and commercial terms with landowners and sellers.
• Coordinate with lawyers, surveyors, government authorities and other stakeholders.
• Perform land due diligence covering title verification, zoning, encumbrances and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition projects.
• Prepare acquisition reports, property evaluations and recommendations for senior management.
• Monitor market trends, land values and emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in real‑estate acquisition, land buying or property development.
• Strong knowledge of the Zambian property market, land ownership processes and local regulations.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage relationships with landowners, agents, legal advisors and government bodies.
• Excellent analytical and commercial judgment.
• Ability to work independently and identify viable land opportunities.
