About the role

Our client, a leading microfinance institution, is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager – Head of Loans. The role blends commercial leadership with advanced digital strategy to grow loan portfolios, motivate high‑performing teams, and expand market reach across SME, civil‑servant, and agricultural segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute national sales strategies for civil‑servant loan products.
• Translate corporate objectives into regional and branch targets.
• Drive portfolio growth through innovative distribution channels and employer partnerships.
• Design and implement digital sales strategies, including CRM optimisation and data‑driven customer acquisition.
• Champion adoption of digital tools across the sales force.
• Inspire, coach, and energise sales teams to exceed targets.
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Strengthen relationships with government institutions, employers and strategic partners.
• Ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining customer trust.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in financial services or lending.
• Proven track record of revenue growth and managing large, distributed teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort with technology‑driven strategies.
• Excellent communication, motivational and leadership abilities.
