Sales Manager – Motor (Full‑time, Lusaka)

About the role

The Sales Manager – Motor is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Lusaka. You will lead the motor division’s sales team, drive market growth, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across fleet and retail customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and set targets for the sales team.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop corporate and retail accounts.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations to support promotions, stock levels and delivery timelines.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports and analyse market trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contribute to process improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives for the motor sector.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive or motor vehicle sales management, including team leadership.
• Strong business development and customer relationship management abilities.
• Ability to analyse sales data, market trends and competitor activity.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales Management or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience in the Zambian market or similar regional context is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools.
