Senior Specialist – Talent Acquisition & Management

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Talent Acquisition & Management will partner with hiring managers to attract, recruit and retain critical talent for Lumwana Mining Company. This role supports end‑to‑end recruitment, performance management, workforce planning and employee engagement across operational, technical and support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for operational, technical and support positions, from job posting to offer and pre‑employment checks.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, workforce plans and sourcing strategies.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines through local sourcing, community partnerships and direct attraction initiatives.
• Ensure recruitment processes comply with labour legislation, company policies and D&I commitments.
• Support performance management cycles, onboarding, succession planning and competency mapping.
• Maintain accurate HRIS and recruitment tracking data, and produce dashboards on time‑to‑hire, turnover and workforce movements.
• Analyse recruitment data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the review and enhancement of HR procedures, SOPs and policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or related HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of labour legislation, diversity & inclusion practices and HR compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with line managers and build effective relationships.
• Results‑driven mindset with a focus on delivering fit‑for‑purpose recruitment solutions.

Required skills

• HRIS (human resources information system) proficiency.
• Experience with recruitment tracking systems.
