Talent Acquisition Supervisor

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Supervisor will lead end‑to‑end recruitment for Twyford’s operations across Africa, developing recruitment plans that match business needs and ensuring critical positions are filled with high‑quality talent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop recruitment plans based on business requirements and manage the full recruitment cycle, from resume screening to onboarding.
• Source and headhunt senior talent through LinkedIn, recruitment portals, social media, networking and other proactive channels.
• Support urgent specialist recruitment for subsidiaries within the group.
• Conduct talent mapping and industry benchmarking to build and maintain a company talent pool.
• Manage mainstream recruitment channels across Africa, overseeing daily operations, performance tracking, data reporting and process optimisation.
• Implement employee retention management from onboarding through probation follow‑up and regularisation assessment.
• Assist in improving the recruitment system to ensure compliant, efficient and high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of professional recruitment experience; experience in the building materials or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead interviews independently with strong talent assessment and negotiation skills.
• Hands‑on experience in senior talent sourcing, headhunting and talent mapping.
• Familiarity with mainstream recruitment channels across Africa and local talent market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, proactive attitude, quick learning ability and strong interpersonal skills.
