Technical Implementation Specialist – SaaS

About the role

GreatPeople is seeking a Technical Implementation Specialist to lead the onboarding of its SaaS platform for customers in Zambia. The role blends technology, project management and customer interaction, ensuring new clients are set up, trained and ready to derive value from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation projects from contract signing through go‑live.
• Configure the GreatPeople platform – locations, teams, users, surveys, permissions and reporting.
• Generate QR codes and other onboarding assets.
• Deliver engaging online and onsite training sessions for client teams.
• Test configurations, support early adoption and resolve implementation issues.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product and Engineering teams.
• Maintain accurate implementation documentation and client records.
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and customer experience.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, software onboarding, customer success or technical support.
• Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and pay close attention to detail.
• Professional written and spoken English.
• Based in Lusaka or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, ClickUp, Google Workspace and Slack.
• Quick learner of new software platforms.
