Technical Project Manager – IT Transformation

About the role

The client seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead planning, execution, governance and delivery of IT and digital transformation initiatives. You will coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of multiple IT projects, defining scope, objectives, milestones and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project charters, business cases, schedules, roadmaps and KPI tracking.
• Establish governance frameworks, facilitate steering committees and manage stakeholder communication.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies; manage RAID logs and escalations.
• Control project financials, budgeting, forecasting and resource utilisation.
• Manage vendors and implementation partners, ensuring contractual compliance and quality delivery.
• Oversee change, testing, UAT, cut‑over and transition to BAU support.

Required profile

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years delivering enterprise technology projects.
• Proven track record managing digital transformation, infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication and governance reporting skills.
• Experience in large enterprise, mining, manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.
