Project Team Coordinator

About the role

The Project Team Coordinator will lead the ECHO‑funded integrated WASH, Health, and Nutrition project in Mantapala. Reporting to senior management, the coordinator ensures high‑quality, timely, and compliant implementation while strengthening coordination with government, UN agencies, and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for integrated WASH‑Health‑Nutrition interventions and ensure alignment with ECHO priorities and national policies.
• Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities, including work plans, budgets, and procurement.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams, conduct performance management, and promote safeguarding compliance.
• Coordinate with the Ministry of Health, UN agencies, and local partners; represent the organization in coordination platforms.
• Implement a robust MEAL system, ensure data quality, and use findings for adaptive programming.
• Oversee technical integration of water systems, sanitation, hygiene promotion, IPC, and healthcare waste management.
• Manage financial compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and liaison with finance and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading integrated WASH, health, and nutrition projects in humanitarian settings.
• Strong knowledge of ECHO guidelines, gender, protection, safeguarding, and accountability standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and foster collaborative environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with ministries, UN agencies, and community groups.
• Experience in MEAL implementation and data‑driven program adaptation.
