Warehouse Stock Checker

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Checker to join our warehouse team. The role involves counting, verifying and dispatching loads, ensuring accurate inventory records and supporting safe, efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Count, check and verify loads during loading and off‑loading.
• Process and reconcile digital or manual invoices and handle POS payment activities.
• Maintain health, safety, environmental and 5S standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Report and act on non‑conformities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage stock quality, enforce FEFO rotation, and perform daily stock counts using a handheld device.
• Generate variance reports, resolve discrepancies and maintain clear communication with inventory, warehouse and logistics teams.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently, following documented load plans signed by relevant stakeholders.
• Process internal stock movements (transfers, breakages, issues) in the ERP system and record returns accurately.
• Participate in stock deviation investigations and propose improvement actions.
