Storekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a Storekeeper to join our Kitwe warehouse team. The role involves managing the flow of materials – from receiving and inspection to storage and dispatch – while ensuring accuracy, safety and compliance with Epiroc’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label and store incoming goods, recording transactions in the ERP system.
• Pick, pack and dispatch materials for internal and external customers, meeting quality and timeliness targets.
• Conduct regular stock counts, process returns, handle scrapping and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean and compliant with 5S, health, safety and environmental guidelines.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and support daily inbound, outbound and stock‑control activities.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining or a related field.
• No or limited formal work experience; internships or attachments are a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership potential through academic, extracurricular or community activities.
• Willingness to travel and work at diverse locations, including mine sites if required.
• Basic technical knowledge relevant to mechanical, electrical or mining environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to use ERP systems for inventory transactions.
• Safe operation of warehouse equipment.
