Procurement and Logistics Officer

About the role

Dollar Tree Distributors is looking for a highly organized Procurement and Logistics Officer to support its Agro Stores division. The role combines purchasing of agro and FMCG products with coordination of bulk transportation to ensure continuous product availability across stores.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure agro and FMCG products at competitive prices.
• Coordinate transportation and dispatch of bulk goods using 30–40 ton trucks.
• Monitor stock levels, prevent stockouts and support inventory planning.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, operational procedures and work standards for procurement and logistics.
• Follow up with suppliers, transporters and manage delivery schedules, including loading and off‑loading.
• Maintain accurate procurement and logistics records in ERP systems.
• Prepare regular procurement and stock reports and support inter‑store stock transfers.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, logistics, transport coordination or inventory management.
• Strong negotiation, communication and follow‑up abilities.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Reliable, accountable and solution‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for procurement and logistics record‑keeping.
