Digital Channels Solutions Specialist

About the role

The Digital Channels Solutions Specialist will design, implement and maintain digital banking solutions that enable rapid, data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. You will work closely with internal teams, regional service groups and external fintech partners to ensure platform stability, security and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage digital banking platform performance, availability and security, applying updates, patches and service improvements.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, ensuring SLA/OLA compliance and timely issue resolution.
• Lead change management activities, coordinating all IT‑related changes according to Absa standards.
• Manage integrations with banking systems, fintech solutions and third‑party providers, troubleshooting technical issues with vendors and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain ITIL‑aligned service management processes, including incident, problem and escalation management.
• Analyse usage trends, drive customer engagement strategies and report on service metrics daily, weekly and monthly.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve digital banking services.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of digital banking operations and service delivery.
• Experience in managing complex IT services and change initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, vendors and regulatory bodies.
