Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist will support the organization’s strategic objectives by delivering data‑driven financial insights, building robust forecasts, and ensuring budgets align with donor requirements and program goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare data‑based projections, sensitivity analyses, and financial recommendation reports to guide sustainable growth.
• Develop and maintain financial analysis packs, dashboards, and variance reports for senior management.
• Analyze cost drivers, unit economics, and operational efficiency across program interventions.
• Lead change‑management initiatives for new processes or systems adoption.
• Design multi‑year budgets, activity‑based and grant‑specific budgets, and ensure alignment with donor regulations.
• Validate and upload budgets into ERP systems, track expenditures, and propose resource reallocations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial planning, business analysis, or similar roles.
• Proven experience in process automation and leveraging AI models to reduce manual work.
• Strong project‑management and process‑improvement capabilities.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP or Oracle.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling.
• Data‑visualisation tools – Power BI or Tableau.
• ERP platforms (Sage, SAP, Oracle or similar).
• Automation of financial processes using AI models.
