Health & Safety Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Supervisor to lead our safety initiatives and maintain a compliant, healthy workplace. The role involves overseeing safety policies, conducting inspections, and driving continuous improvement in an industrial setting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and implement workplace health & safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and training sessions for employees.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols.
• Keep accurate health & safety records and prepare required reports.
• Support emergency preparedness, risk assessments and safety improvement projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in health & safety or a related industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health & safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven capability to conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
