Purchase Specialist – Procurement Operations

About the role

The Purchase Specialist will manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement from requisition to purchase order generation, vendor selection and delivery tracking.
• Source reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with warehouse teams to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, alternative suppliers and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Review purchase agreements, monitor vendor performance against SLAs and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with logistics, sales and finance to ensure smooth operations and accurate invoicing.
• Maintain procurement records, generate reports and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments is highly encouraged.
