About the role
The Regional Business Development Manager – OBK will drive growth of exploration drilling equipment across the mining and exploration market in Zambia. You will lead sales, aftermarket solutions and service support while building lasting customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Expand regional sales of drilling equipment and tools, from prospecting to contract closure.
- Promote spare parts, consumables, rebuilds and upgrades, ensuring high machine availability.
- Develop long‑term partnerships with mining companies, drilling contractors and distributors through site visits and technical support.
- Monitor market activity, competitor moves and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
- Strengthen distributor capabilities with product training and coordinated execution.
- Achieve targets for equipment sales growth, aftermarket revenue, market share, customer satisfaction and distributor performance.
Required profile
- Degree in Engineering, Mining, Business or a related field.
- 8‑10 years of experience in mining, drilling, exploration equipment or heavy‑equipment sales.
- Proven track record in both equipment sales and aftermarket/service business.
- Strong understanding of exploration drilling applications and customer operations.
