Sales and Marketing Assistant – Ndola, Zambia

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team in Ndola, Zambia. The role combines telemarketing, client acquisition, and digital marketing activities to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead telemarketing campaigns to identify prospects and secure sales agreements.
• Prepare accurate commercial quotes and billing documents for client accounts.
• Extract and manage order information from customer‑facing digital platforms.
• Develop and execute digital marketing plans, including online advertising initiatives.
• Collect, analyse, and present performance analytics to senior leadership.
• Identify new market segments and implement outreach strategies to acquire customers.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align sales targets with marketing objectives.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience in a sales or marketing function.
• Strong technical proficiency with standard business applications.
• Deep understanding of digital marketing principles, especially social media channels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on achieving performance targets.
• Ability to analyse complex data sets and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Adaptability in a fast‑paced, evolving commercial environment.
