Assistant Manager – Advisory

About the role

We are hiring a Manager in our Advisory practice to own client engagements end‑to‑end and help grow the practice in Zambia. This delivery‑focused, business‑building role combines client leadership with team management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of advisory engagements covering transaction advisory, due diligence and capital raising.
• Run five to ten concurrent engagements on time and within budget.
• Personally lead five to eight proposals and build direct relationships with clients in mining, energy, banking and manufacturing.
• Manage a team of seven, accountable for their output and development.
• Balance commercial goals with delivery quality and conduct regular reviews.

Required profile

• Professional accountancy qualification (CA Zambia, ACCA or CIMA) in good standing and active ZICA membership.
• Six or more years of advisory or consulting experience, including at least three years managing engagements and people.
• Validated foreign qualifications by the Zambia Qualifications Authority.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering paid engagements that generated repeat business.
• Relevant master’s degree, CFA or PMP is useful but not mandatory.
