Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating and validating backend‑focused datasets, code samples and system designs. The role bridges software engineering expertise with data annotation to improve the quality of AI models that work with server‑side technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that describe scalability, performance and reliability characteristics.
• Provide structured evaluation feedback and engineering reasoning for AI training.
• Validate server‑side code performance, logic accuracy and security compliance.
• Review database queries, authentication mechanisms and microservice interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
