IT Product Manager

About the role

Huawei is seeking an IT Product Manager to lead pre‑sales activities, work directly with customers to understand their needs, and design end‑to‑end IT solutions that showcase the value of Huawei technology.

Key responsibilities

• Clarify customer requirements during pre‑sales engagements and translate them into clear solution scopes.
• Maintain strong relationships with customer IT, architecture and decision‑making teams.
• Design comprehensive IT solutions for projects, RFPs and tenders, highlighting technical advantage, total cost of ownership and business outcomes.
• Produce solution proposals, technical presentations, business cases and tender responses.
• Support workshops, proof‑of‑concepts and solution clarification meetings through to delivery hand‑over.
• Own deliverables through completion, especially during peak bid periods with tight timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the IT industry with a system integrator, vendor, consultancy or enterprise/public‑sector IT department.
• Background in pre‑sales, solution design, technical consulting or bid support.
• Ability to engage credibly with customer IT and architecture teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of data‑centre infrastructure, server and storage, cloud platforms, virtualisation and enterprise networking.
• Relevant certifications such as HCIA/HCIP (Datacom, Storage, Cloud), CCNA/CCNP, VMware, AWS, Azure or ITIL.
