Branch Manager – Kitwe, Zambia

About the role

As the Branch Manager for Weir ESCO in Kitwe, you will shape the company’s future in Zambia. You will be accountable for regional growth, leveraging a strong technical foundation, commercial insight and leadership capability to build customer relationships and develop a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and scale Weir’s presence in Zambia, putting robust structures, processes and ways of working in place.
• Set and deliver the territory sales strategy for the mining sector, lead business development and tender activities.
• Secure new opportunities and expand Weir’s footprint across mine sites.
• Lead, coach and develop a growing sales and technical team, ensuring the right capability for current and future demand.

Required profile

• Technical foundation relevant to industrial and mining equipment.
• Commercial insight with a focus on sales growth in the mining sector.
• Proven leadership capability and experience building high‑performing teams.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and execute on the ground.
