Brewery Logistics Manager

About the role

The Brewery Logistics Manager is responsible for implementing ABInBev’s safety standards and overseeing the brewery’s regional distribution, fleet, inventory and warehousing functions. The role ensures optimal customer service levels while meeting benchmarked productivity targets and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with OHS, Road Transport and governance codes.
• Conduct quarterly safety reviews, annual risk assessments and regular safety audits, implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Oversee fleet condition, enforce safety protocols, and manage fleet operations across sites.
• Ensure logistics teams follow quality guidelines, manage blocked stock, and monitor finished‑goods inventory age to mitigate write‑off risks.
• Lead Daily, Weekly and Monthly logistics meetings in line with DPO/VPO frameworks, enforce SOPs and monitor operational work diagnoses.
• Track and report KPI performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, driving continuous improvement.
• Manage VLC, ZBB and SCOH costs to meet annual flexed targets.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and ability to enforce compliance.
• Experience in logistics, fleet management and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits and implement mitigation plans.
• Excellent organizational skills to coordinate meetings, SOPs and KPI tracking.
• Analytical mindset to identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage inventory risks.
