About the role
The Climate and Economic Technical and Partnerships Coordinator will provide hands‑on technical leadership for Oxfam’s climate and economic justice programmes across multiple countries. The role ensures interventions are evidence‑based, partner‑led and aligned with Oxfam’s feminist principles.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support on climate adaptation, resilience, livelihoods, environmental governance and economic justice, ensuring programmes are strategically designed and technically sound.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with partner organisations, supporting them in programme design, delivery, adaptive management and capacity building.
- Oversee implementation of donor‑restricted projects, tracking progress, ensuring compliance with technical standards and aligning activities with strategic objectives.
- Integrate robust MEAL systems into programme delivery, capture evidence, and translate findings into learning products and policy‑relevant analysis.
- Prepare high‑quality technical donor reports, ensure compliance with contractual obligations and support risk management.
- Contribute technical insights to regional influencing and advocacy, turning programme evidence into policy recommendations.
- Share technical knowledge across Oxfam teams, promote internal coordination and support nexus programming.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Social Sciences or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in climate justice, economic justice, livelihoods, environmental governance and partner‑led programme implementation.
- Proven experience coordinating multi‑country or regional programmes, providing technical advisory and ensuring programme quality.
- Strong analytical, communication and decision‑making skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Commitment to Oxfam’s safeguarding policies and feminist principles.
