Commercial Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead commercial excellence on a major infrastructure project in Zambia. The role involves managing contracts, claims and cost control for large-scale earthworks, ensuring profitability while delivering quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own all commercial aspects of the infrastructure project, including contract compliance and budget control.
• Manage variations, claims and contract administration for extensive earthworks portfolios.
• Maintain strong commercial relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Negotiate and oversee contractual terms to protect project interests.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years’ experience as a Commercial Manager on large infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record managing earthworks contracts and operations.
• Solid practical knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.
• Strong commercial and contractual negotiation abilities.
