Credit Risk Analyst – Digital Lending & Microfinance

About the role

Mighty Fin is looking for a highly analytical Credit Risk Analyst with solid experience in digital lending, micro‑finance, and credit analytics. This senior‑level position involves managing fast‑moving lending portfolios in emerging markets and leveraging alternative data, behavioral scoring, fraud monitoring, and delinquency analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise portfolio risk performance.
• Conduct borrower and sector risk analysis.
• Support credit‑policy refinement and scorecard development.
• Analyse repayment behaviour and delinquency trends.
• Detect fraud patterns and suspicious lending activity.
• Produce risk dashboards and portfolio reports for management.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in micro‑finance, digital lending, banking risk or fintech credit operations.
• Strong understanding of PAR analysis, vintage analysis, roll rates, collections analytics, fraud risk monitoring and credit‑scoring methodologies.
• Experience analysing unsecured consumer or SME lending portfolios and high‑volume loan books.
• Ability to independently identify portfolio deterioration trends and recommend corrective actions.
