Facilities Manager for International Transport Corridor

About the role

The Facilities Manager will oversee the efficient operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of all KMTR facilities and support services across Zambia and the DRC. Reporting to the General Manager, this role ensures safety, sustainability and business continuity for the concession.

Key responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and operation of all company facilities, ensuring reliable utilities and support services.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for buildings and equipment.
• Oversee accommodation, fleet, security, cleaning, catering and other corporate services, managing outsourced providers and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements and support emergency preparedness.
• Control facilities budgets, monitor contractor performance and identify efficiency and sustainability opportunities.
• Lead, coach and develop the facility management team in Zambia and the DRC, fostering a culture of safety and inclusion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years experience in facilities or property management, preferably in industrial, infrastructure or mining sites.
• Experience managing multi‑site operations in Central Africa, especially DRC or Zambia.
• Proven track record of managing outsourced services and contractors.
