General Manager Finance

About the role

We are looking for a General Manager Finance to provide strategic financial leadership, support business planning and decision‑making, and ensure robust financial governance across a multi‑site organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and the board.
• Lead finance and accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports in line with International Accounting Standards.
• Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, internal controls and improve reporting efficiency.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity and working‑capital.
• Oversee annual audit, tax compliance, statutory filings and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain banking relationships and act as liaison with lenders and financial institutions.
• Supervise ICT operations, ERP (SAP or similar) implementation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Mentor and develop finance and cross‑functional teams, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 20+ years of finance and accounting experience with senior‑management exposure.
• Proven experience in large‑scale, multinational or multi‑site organisations.
• Extensive background in budgeting, reporting, audits, taxation, treasury and risk management.
• Experience overseeing ICT functions and ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams.
