About the role

Join First Quantum’s Graduate Development Program at Kansanshi Mining Plc and embark on a structured, rotational training journey. You will gain hands‑on experience across engineering, mining operations, environmental and commercial functions while being mentored by senior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in on‑the‑job training rotations across multiple departments according to a defined development plan.
• Support departmental projects, daily operations and data‑driven decision making.
• Conduct research, analyse data and prepare reports to aid operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Engage in continuous learning through mentorship, training sessions and innovative problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Control Systems, Electrical/Electrical‑Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Environmental & Natural Resource Management or related field.
• No prior professional experience required; internships in mining are a plus.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and communicate effectively in written and verbal English.
• Behavioural traits: bold, smart, driven and collaborative.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools or concepts.
• Basic data analysis and reporting capabilities.
