Key Account Manager – Chinese Speaking

About the role

Alfred H Knight is seeking a Chinese‑speaking Key Account Manager to lead and develop a high‑performing, customer‑focused team in Zambia. The role will manage priority Chinese accounts across Zambia and the DRC, while also supporting Chinese clients throughout Southern Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior liaison for all Chinese clients in the region, providing world‑class service and rapid response.
• Coordinate information flow between Operations and Administration teams for Chinese accounts.
• Deliver best‑in‑class services, identify improvement opportunities and propose additional solutions.
• Prepare tailored commercial proposals and support revenue growth.
• Maintain and grow relationships with Chinese customers in Zambia, the DRC and the wider Southern Africa region.
• Validate invoices, reports and service documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Collect, analyse and report performance data for Chinese accounts.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on sales or account‑management experience, preferably with Chinese clients in Zambia, DRC or Southern Africa.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese; French is a plus.
• A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or Sales.
• Professional certifications in sales or key‑account management are advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience developing service proposals.
• Excellent communication, cultural awareness and attention to detail.
