Partnership Facilitators

About the role

The Partnership Facilitator serves as Compassion's primary liaison to local churches, helping them strengthen ownership, capacity, and resources to minister to children and youth. Working independently on moderately complex projects, the facilitator collaborates with other specialists and may coach junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and act as a consistent witness for Him within and outside Compassion.
• Advocate for children’s needs, prioritize child protection, and follow Compassion’s Code of Conduct and reporting procedures.
• Strengthen church ownership and capacity through the Partnership Management core process and a developmental mindset.
• Facilitate collaborative reflection on youth and church outcomes, helping churches develop and implement their own strategies.
• Coordinate with Church Facing Team members to identify and engage change makers such as parents, schools, and peers.
• Identify capacity‑development needs of pastors and church staff and mobilize local and financial resources.
• Support churches in sharing and mobilizing resources with nearby congregations.

Required profile

• Demonstrated personal commitment to serving, respecting, and empowering churches according to Compassion’s ministry philosophy.
• Strong adherence to child protection principles and willingness to report any concerns.
• Ability to work independently, manage moderately complex projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent relational skills to build trust, mutual respect, and service‑oriented partnerships with church leaders.
