Parts Sales & Service Representative

About the role

The Parts Sales & Service Representative will support Sandvik Mining customers within an assigned territory, promoting and selling parts and services to grow revenue and ensure customer satisfaction. You will act as the primary contact for aftermarket opportunities, helping clients maximize the performance of their mining equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer satisfaction and increase market share.
• Promote a balanced product portfolio using a value‑based, profit‑focused sales approach.
• Introduce new product ranges and gather competitor intelligence.
• Identify and channel new business opportunities to the group.
• Manage order intake, compare actual versus budget/forecast, and submit accurate forecasts.
• Grow revenue per machine and ensure pricing consistency.
• Engage with all stakeholders at customer sites to support business growth.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or equivalent experience; university degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of customer‑facing experience in a technical or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of Sandvik Mining products and surface mining equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with aftermarket products and mining operations.
• Experience in sales and marketing.
• Valid Zambian driver’s licence and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Membership of the Engineering Institute of Zambia is a plus.

• Hands‑on experience with surface mining equipment.
• Understanding of aftermarket products and mining operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
