Production Coordinator – Drilling

About the role

We are looking for a Production Coordinator to lead drilling operations within our mining sites. The role combines planning, supervision and optimisation of all mining activities to ensure safety, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise drilling, blasting, loading, hauling and crushing activities.
• Monitor ore grade control and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage personnel and equipment resources effectively.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local communities, government agencies and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in open‑pit mining, including at least 5 years in a management role.
• Proven track record of increasing production while reducing costs.
• Extensive knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with mining‑related computer programs.
