Project Planning & Policy Advisor – Solar Energy

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Project Planning & Policy Advisor to drive the development and implementation of solar energy initiatives. The role combines strategic policy analysis with hands‑on project coordination to support sustainable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee detailed project plans for renewable energy programmes.
• Conduct policy research, monitor regulatory frameworks and provide strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate timelines, budgets and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare reports, proposals, policy briefs and other project documentation.
• Support feasibility studies, investment planning and project evaluations.
• Liaise with government bodies, development partners, investors and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with national energy policies, environmental standards and project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Energy Studies, Environmental Engineering, Public Policy, Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in solar energy, project planning or policy advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of renewable‑energy policies, regulations and market trends.
• Proven experience in project coordination, stakeholder management and strategic planning.
• Excellent analytical, communication and report‑writing abilities.
