Rock Tools Contract Operations Manager

About the role

The Rock Tools Contract Operations Manager is responsible for the effective operation of Sandvik rock‑tool contract sites within a designated region. You will build senior‑level customer relationships, lead contract teams, and ensure financial and service targets are met while showcasing the value of Sandvik drilling consumables.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Sandvik Environmental, Health & Safety policies at all contract sites.
• Control profitability of each site, meet KPI targets, and manage budgeting and invoicing.
• Collaborate with Product Support Managers on technical issues, product development, and warranty matters.
• Coordinate monthly stock forecasts and re‑order points with demand planners and logistics teams.
• Develop and mentor contract‑site personnel, fostering career growth within Sandvik.
• Deliver high‑level customer service, ensuring timely, quality product delivery.
• Analyse rock‑tool usage data, identify improvement opportunities, and define training needs for crews and customers.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or Project Management.
• Strong communication skills, detail‑oriented, and a superior customer‑service attitude.
