Sales & Marketing Officer (Lusaka)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer to join our team in Lusaka. The successful candidate will identify new market opportunities, generate leads and drive sales growth while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new market opportunities and penetration strategies.
• Generate leads, follow up quotations and convert them into confirmed sales.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and prepare regular sales reports.
• Conduct market research on customer needs, trends, competitors and business opportunities.
• Promote company products and services to new and existing customers.
• Maintain a robust customer database and sales pipeline.
• Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations as required.
• Coordinate with production and operations to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Participate in exhibitions, promotions, site visits and other marketing activities.
• Monitor competitor pricing, products and market activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in sales and marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and convert quotations into sales.
• Strong negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills.
• Target‑driven, self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good knowledge of the Zambian market and ability to spot new business opportunities.
• Computer literate with solid reporting and presentation abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
